Wicker Park Fest Returns in 2021

Wicker Park Fest is back for its 17th Anniversary Season with 3-Days of Live Music, Arts, and Fashion, July 23 - 25

One of Chicago's most anticipated summer events, Wicker Park Fest, is returning July 23th - 25th for its 17th annual party! The 3-day festival that Chicago magazine and Chicago Tribune have previously called one of the "best" of the year famously features some of the most acclaimed live music of the season, with two stages in 2021 and entertainment for all tastes and ages. Chicago's "best" street fest reflects Wicker Park's rich music and cultural heritage, with over 20 bands, over 60 vendors - a colorful mix of neighborhood restaurants, boutiques and artisans. A $10 gate donation (which makes it a city street fest reopening steal!) benefits the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, a local non-profit specializing in small business assistance.

Above all, Wicker Park Fest is a music-first festival, always attracting some of the summer's most sought-after acts. Since the beginning, the iconic live music venue located in Wicker Park, Subterranean, has been a partner in curating the festival's lineup. Final band announcement includes the anonymous American Punk Rock band Masked Intruder, returning from hiatus the iconic & influential 90's Indie Rock Pioneers Archers Of Loaf, the legendary Smoking Popes, and young Chicago stand out artist Ric Wilson that makes party-ready hip-hop with an intelligent twist and Voted 2nd best live show in Chicago 2019 only after Lizzo for his Pitchfork performance (Chicago Tribune). Wilson is a product of Young Chicago Authors, the same creative writing program that birthed Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, and Jamila Woods.
